The residents of Western Greene County have generously allowed me to serve in the Missouri Legislature for four terms. As my time as your State Representative counts down to an end, many of my friends and supporters have been asking what is the next step for me. My time in the General Assembly has been more educational than I could ever illustrate, and I truly have been blessed by the experience. I wish to thank everyone who placed their faith in me by casting those votes in my favor.

Being born and raised in Greene County I feel a very strong bond to this area. I call it home and proudly boast of the areas beauty and livability. We are unique here, in that our economy is more stable than other parts of the State or even the country. Our industry, agriculture and small business' are strong and the medical field re-enforces the foundation that our growth builds on. With close ties to tourism and recreation destinations Greene County will continue to be a wonderful place to call home.

Over the last year, I have had an overwhelming swelling of encouragement to continue serving the residents of Greene County. After months of consideration, the support of my family and the commitment of my campaign staff, I enthusiastically announced I would be seeking the position of Greene County Presiding Commissioner in 2010!

This will not be an easy campaign. I will need the help and support of all of you to reach this goal. Over the next months this web site will evolve. My plan to improve Greene County will be laid out for you to inspect, and its contents will serve as a way for you to hold me accountable as the new leader of the County. At strategic intervals in the campaign, new information will be revealed about almost all the departments that the Commissioners oversee and the changes that I feel will improve Greene County’s interaction with you, the residents.
